Data deletion

You can delete your Pinch account and all associated data at any time.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your account information (name, email)
• Every recipe in your recipe book
• Photos, links and text you uploaded for recipe extraction
• Your scan credits and credit history

We keep a one-way hash of your sign-in account identifier so the free sign-up credits can't be claimed twice. It can't be used to identify you or recover any of your data. See our privacy policy for details.

How to request deletion

Option 1: In-app

1. Open Pinch
2. Tap the profile button in the top corner
3. Tap Delete account
4. Confirm with Delete everything

If you signed in with Apple, you'll be asked to confirm with Apple so we can revoke Pinch's access to your Apple ID.

Option 2: Email

If you no longer have the app installed, send a deletion request to apps@coady.me from the email address associated with your account.

Processing time

• In-app deletion happens immediately
• Email requests are processed within 30 days, and we'll reply to confirm once it's done
• Data in routine backups and logs is removed as those expire (see the privacy policy)

Important notes

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
• Your recipes are not recoverable after deletion
• Any unused scan credits, including ones you bought, are lost
